Muffins are a type of quick bread that are typically small, round, and baked in individual portions. They are popular for breakfast or as a snack and come in a wide variety of flavors and styles.
Muffins are made with flour, sugar, eggs, and a leavening agent such as baking powder or baking soda. Other ingredients such as milk, butter, oil, and flavorings like vanilla extract, fruits, or nuts are often added to the batter.
There are many different types of muffins, including sweet muffins like blueberry, chocolate chip, and banana, as well as savory muffins like corn and cheese. Some muffins are also made with special dietary considerations in mind, such as gluten-free or vegan muffins.
Muffins are often served warm with butter or jam, and can be enjoyed for breakfast, brunch, or as a snack throughout the day. They can also be frozen and reheated later for a quick and convenient meal or snack.
