Scones with cheese made with butter


  • 100 grams of butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 egg yolk to paint
  • 1 cup of grated cheese


40 minutes

  • Beat the butter and egg until you get a creamy mixture
  • Add the yolks and beat
  • Sift the flour, salt and baking powder
  • Mix all the ingredients and add the milk little by little
  • Lightly knead and roll out to a thickness of 2 centimeters
  • Cut the scones with a glass or a short pasta
  • Place the scones on a greased plate
  • Paint with the whipped yolk
  • Bake for 12 minutes
